On Sunday April 15th, Patricia L gave an informative slideshow presentation of her trip to Israel during Christmas week. Her presentation focused on the Christian and Hebrew historical sites, including the Sea of Galilee, Mount of Beatitudes, Church of Peter's Primacy, Mt. Hermon, Capharnaum, Nazareth, Jerusalem, Mount of Olives, Temple Mount, Garden of Gethsemane, the Garden Tom, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and Bethlehen's Shepherd's Church and Church of the Nativity. Our many attendees agreed that this was a very interesting! Thank you, Patricia!

Our church celebrated the Holy Week of Easter, beginning with our Palm Sunday Service on March 25th. Our evening service on Maundy Thursday included Holy Communion. Our Sanctuary was open from 10am to 2:30pm for our Good Friday Prayer Vigil, a quiet time of prayer and reflection, followed by a Good Friday Service at 3:00pm.  We celebrated Easter Sunday starting with a sunrise service at 7:00am, followed by by a continental breakfast. At our Easter Resurrection Service at 10am, we decorated the cross with fresh flowers.

 On Saturday, March 17th, our United Methodist Women hosted our Annual St. Patrick's Day Dinner. Our many volunteers cooked a tasty corned beef and cabbage dinner with all the trimmings! Pastor Rob and Maggie provided music for our entertainment! Thanks to all of our volunteers and our diners for another successful dinner!

We hosted John Nilsen, pianist from Portland OR, on January 28th for an a piano concert during our morning Sunday service. He has played at our church several times over the years. Mr. Nilsen has performed in Europe, Asia, and in all fifty US states countless times. He has released nineteen albums, each with international distribution. John Nilsen also has two hundred and fifty of his own compositions and musical arrangements receiving royalties world-wide.  More info...
